Artistic Statement
This project originated as a home decor brand that would be fitting for the dwarf's cottage in the Grimm brother's version of Snow White. Through the design process and after feedback from the professor, the trajectory of the project shifted to better fit the project prompt. I kept the idea of creating a dark home decor brand that caters to aesthetics that major home decor brands neglect like moody maximalism and dramatic modernism.

Project Reflection
Even though I had a lot of ideas to sort through at the beginning of this project, I am glad to see this project as a finished whole. I was adamant about pushing these project deliverables into mediums I don't really have experience with. I didn't have much experience with 3D rendering or sculpting before this project, but I could not be more proud of how it turned out.

I had some challenges deciding how I would create physical deliverables for this project or where I would store them after, so I think the digital renderings were a more successful route for me. If I were to continue developing this project, I would work on adding more variations in the dishware styles and shapes. I would like to expand this project one day to include plates and more styles of silverware as well.
